sorry, when you elevate “Im offended!” to beyond religious levels of legitimacy, its necessary to not play favorites. Just because someone “got away with it” doesn’t legitimize it. Rules are rules, no matter whose momma owns the plate. Don’t like it? work to eliminate “emotional” as the primary indicator of “truth”.

I am torn between sadness at the loss and joy in her accomplishments and the level of dedication, bravery and skill that put her in the car and led to her death. Its how heroes should go, as everyone must at some time go.  She’s an example in life AND death now.

I still have to do this every time Im working a bolt upside down lol

seems to have gone thru a few hands since the estate sale, people trying to “flip it” and instead going “f**k it” and getting rid of it? Im questioning whether its been registered all this time, and california LOVES its back fees. Ive been burned in my youth by similar problems, where the last registered owner is

I loves me some diesel (german ancestry) but this is quite a few dollars too high a price for what’s essentially still an older used car that now appeals more to the “past their sell-by date” people who in their youth got along a lot based on their physical appearance, than the nu-hippies who thought the built in

I am a huge fan of amphibious vehicles (even volunteer at a WWII landing craft museum) and loved this companies first vehicle that looked like a long nosed 80's Camaro. this one, not so much but still cool. that being said, the price. Dayum. cool to look at but not to own at that absurd level.

I was real stoked until I read “ECVT”. absolutely HATED the CVT in the new Outback, Legacy and Forester. One of these with the turbo H4 and the manual transmission, its a 4 wheel motorcycle that’d be more fun than the turbocharged 1L Geo metro

and “no apex seals” which basically turns the whole thing into a “gasoline assisted oil pump”

we still refer to red primers as “red lead” at the LCS 102. which is fun because people freak who overhear it and think we’re using real lead paint.

there used to be websites dedicated to telling EV users where homeowners had front lawn outlets and were gone all day. parking and grabbing some juice from some unwilling stranger was part of the “entitlement” for awhile with the lower power need “city car” systems. Wasnt until people started seeing high power bills

sending this link to my buddy who’s up in the area and had one of these for years until he moved to a different area and spent no time at home needing a car. now might need another

this car refutes Kermit’s lament. this Saab is totally easy being green!

riders do. riding opposite traffic in the middle of the street, something I see downtown daily, is causing ones own death

wrong. riding out in front of cars is causing fatalities. suicidal sure but pretending that every auto should be able to ignore intertia because some headphone wearing rider cuts out between parked cars is what’s leading to deaths. more people feeling more entitled to be more stupid and then getting others blamed for

you could simply execute every driver involved in a bike-car accident right on the spot without even bothering to determine fault or legality (like articles always assuming the rider was totally in the right) and we’d still have problems. Reality is a hard thing to swallow, and physics isn’t something people want to

the penetration of cars is an order of magnitude greater but the increase in injuries to pedestrians, especially those not in the street at the time of a collision, is growing well out of proportion. out of millions of cars driven millions of miles, the 4 or 5 nines percentile of people staying off the street are

even my old fat ass can handle a “last mile” on shoes. even in inclement weather. last 3 miles round trip? then we talk.

buy your own scooter. license and insure your own scooter. then make a comparison. False equivalency because you enjoy the “disruption” or enable the hazards is the true “bullshit”

Ive got photos of these “rehomed” into drainage runs, dumpsters and even garbage cans. Apparently you can fit TWO of these Birdlime units into the average open top round urban trash receptacle.  Who knew?

bribes paid to the cities where these are legal. err sorry “lobbying” and “disruption”
