Boeing used to run similar micro trucks all over their Renton and Everett plants. First time I saw a “kei” minivan too was as a subcontractor in the mid 90s. They weren’t supposed to leave the plant grounds, but a few times Id see the tiny tool hauler trucks up the road aways on lunch or coffee runs..

your advice of “keep all the paperwork” is spot on, and pretty much the only thing that every car buyer needs to do. Put it in a manila envelope, even the ad if you’ve got it, and stick it in the fire safe with the tax returns. I just recently got around to tossing the paperwork on an old car that I sold a year ago!

theres gotta be a way to keep track of all those people who “hate” a regulation against cameras like these, and match them to people who scream “there needs to be a law!” about every car thing they don’t like. As well as keeping for history when the inevitable lawsuit comes out (not because of the technology, but

what is it called when you take what people wear and drive and make the worst assumptions you can about them? oh right.....

so we got the mercedes guy’s lawyer’s side whole cloth without much criticism, we need the truck company lawyers’ side whole cloth without criticism too. Because lawyers saying the merc driver wasnt at fault and the truck driver was, is expected and until handled in court, is as valid as claiming “it was aliens all

take an already cool looking car that most of us will never actually be able to get ahold of, then put a bodykit on it to make it look like a different cool car.

sadly one of the truths about the Locost builds, is they really don’t end up that way

those tires in the rear look HUGE!

scored mine months ago at the lego store full retail Zero regrets. One thing that the photos don’t show? you can store the LEM inside the fairing or on the lunar surface plate without any modifications. I also swapped the nose cone from the splashdown scene into the main model.  the build techniques to set up a hollow

oh FFS. these rules are DECADES OLD. And unless you’re just okay with one mega rich guy getting away with shit while swabbies and airmen get rung up all the time for sneaking a puff, then putting your partisan spin on it is even more of a waste of time. Everyone knows the rules, break em and get the consequences, or

now if we could just get entitled asshats and uber/lyft drivers to not park or pull close to the curb blocking these and we’d be golden. And maybe have some clue when passengers pop open doors

I want the gas turbine powered hybrid model :(

where did he find the parts? I couldn’t find squat for my 88 CRX Si. that extra panel in front of the hood? forget about it. a replacement spoiler? nada. every single one was stipped outta ever Pick N Pull for 3 states that I could check.

probably because the same people who profit off of Uber are also trying to make money off a e scooter system? naah, that would never happen :P

if you have to make sure everyone + dog sees your “apologies”, “charity” and “good deeds” then I suspect you’re still less about any reality and more about ‘getting more attention”.

this is the car that takes “I’m not a Porsche guy” and makes them into a Porsche Guy.

I loved the look of the ELR but not the price. this one, while still not a ‘good fiscal decision” is right about in the “mistake I’m happy to make” area. And since I keep cars for a decade or so, depreciation or resale value isn’t a concernt. tentative NP

the problem with cool old former soviet cars is that they’re very difficult to get “road legal” (smogged, insured) for lots of daily driving in California. This car, gives me the look, and the electric lets me get away with driving it. I want one!

I think a lot of the image and romance behind hillclimbs ended when Pikes Peak was fully paved. As the gravel bits on the old hill climb routes faded, so did interest.
