thing is, that’s how work assistance programs run by neighboring Santa Clara County operate. you’re paid thru the EBT system, you get the card and your pay goes on there. We also just did a big hiring push here at Tesla’s request.

if it was all “mass mailing” junk stuff and lame credit card offers, I’d say this man is the hero we deserve.
so when he gets out, escalate from “the finger” and move onto a full mooning!
why y’all worried about Snyder when Brown pretty much did the same thing? I get it we’re supposed to be partisan but if one state says “let em beta test on live roads” then we should either be equally outraged or equally supportive. Its like the pro union guys upset about some factory in the midwest not allowing…
you all are welcome.
great googly-moogly! this is the “new beetle” I had hoped for when the “new beetle” we got came out. Even without the awesome increase in power, the *styling* is right in the sweet spot!
watch next on social media: Take the Paint Can Challenge!
“if it ain’t broke, you’re not trying hard enough”. and “if the ladies don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy”. words to live by!
they’ll get there...eventually...if your water tanks are empty. Ive seen it done, once.
Didn’t California just allow a number of autonomous car testers to run in public, with no restrictions on where testing was to be done, a few weeks ago?
but will she go 300 hectares on a single tank of kerosene? :)
well, at least it wasn’t on fire too. small blessings? :P
now I wanna see a wing and motor/tail pod for a SMART like that one from the James Bond film attached to a Pinto
what was it they called it when if you turned quickly in the direction of rotation and carried insufficient forward speed? I’ve gotten some RC models to fall out of the sky that way, and pilots of the real thing explained it to me years ago.
autogyros are fun but they have some “interesting” flight behaviors that, if one forgets, crashes hard. in models Ive flown, and listening to pilots, sharp turns in the direction of the rotor’s rotation, leads to stalls on one of the blades, which is bad news. the rotor turns slow enough that this is a concern.
the refrain “kids can’t afford track time” falls flat when you remember they’re spending more on “jdm tyte” and new rims than the car as stock would be worth, every year. the LA scene, has guys who explicitly BUILD cars just for the benjamin-a-run drags. Teams and groups, where the latest goodies are only part of the…
nobody with over a thousand dollars in “tuner parts, yo” is “no money”. “street racers” with more in wheels than the car is worth, ain’t trackday problems. And isn’t it still a benjamin ticket to run?
itd make someone a decent commuter for only a few bucks and hours of work. NP for a beater or crapcan/chumpcar entry
learned something new today: that there was a 4 wheel Isetta. I thought they all were 3 wheels
better than only using Southworst and their “cattle class” seat assignment system
