yep. and putting a ton of speakers into that same bed. the origin, so I was told, was using hydraulics to position your bed full of speakers...and things escalated from there.

too late...WHEEEEEEE!!

especially if you’ve driven those exact streets (normally) and feel like your car’s gonna come apart.

I thought it was because “He’s Ken F**Kin’ Block, B*tches!” ?

this is an “eeeeww!” I never thought existed. now something else gross to worry about :(

before I got to the article, my first thought was “thats Mom’s old Datsun pickup!” the one she used the bed of as a playpen for me while she was gardening. I teethed some of the green paint off the tailgate apparently.

probably wasn’t a real class action lawsuit. Were each of you named plaintiffs in the case? I’m expecting to see Jack and Sh*t in regards to two “class action” suits regarding both a large security ID breach and some bad automotive parts.

auto dealers arent the only, or I suspect the majority, of those who are happiest, and lobbied hardest for, this little legislative gem.

so, um, what about the two previous Federal amnesty acts passed after 1998 alone? two passed in 2000 (LIFE Act and “Late Amnesty” which may not apply)? sitting around 17 years then conveniently having a sad story that “we were just turning his life around” seems kinda convenient.

the blue one kinda looks like it’s trying to be a Volvo. Ain’t no polestar there!

I had pulled the banjo bolt screens during the first head swap on mine. Turbo was still boosting fine with no oil leaks thruout all the other repairs. zero shaft play. Still had the stock turbo when i sold it too. everything between the intake and exhaust manifolds (including the tgv assembly on the driver side) was

Berzerkers. this is how you get Saberhagen’s Berzerkers.

Berzerkers. this is how you get Saberhagen’s Berzerkers.

which sucks when you have a motorcycle and they think they can set the pump and walk away.

OMG if this works someone deserves a Pullitzer, or the Medal of Honor, or some big honor! these ads and their weird “trending on putzogram” things irk me to no end!

the movie ending was better.

In Trouble...Again.

is it cheap, simple to maintain and fabricate parts for, and survive and remain operational in the worst third world conditions for years? if not, then its just bad marketing. If it can survive the deserts for years, be patched together in Afghan caves, and be handed down thru a generation or more, and be affordable

this right here.

here’s the weird part. lots of people had original EJ255 blocks and heads that racked hundreds of Kmiles. Abused and riced and still kept on going. Replacement shortblocks however, grenading even under sane stock driving conditions in a year or so.

dunno, my EJ255 (Baja) was nothing but expense after expense. well over 10K put into STOCK engine replacements. sold the fing thing immediately after it was “fixed” the last time.
