its bad enough that all a company has to do is render or “plan” to build some hyper EV or electric plane or whatever and get lots of free hype and million$ in cash for “stage 1" and then drop away without making any real product.

so people who don’t buy Apple aren’t people Tesla wants to sell to? :P
to be fair, its an electric car. an electrical system failure of enough magnitude to kill your displays, probably shuts the car down as well. Or for safety reasons, a failed internal diagnostic of the screen and the car will shut itself down and require service or be stuck in limp-home mode?
this is why there was the “Smartuki” a Suzuki gixxer moto engine (available with turbo even) shoved into the back with a custom engine cradle and driveline. Redlines at around 10K and sounds like it belongs on the Formula track.
think of it as a moped with a clutch. And no step through.
so lots of potential debt? Last time I tried that, I was told “too many accounts” (I had 3) and that was a negative.
dunno sometimes people do post their personal classics.
I used to have a bank that did this monthly or let me see it online for free. Then they lost out in the “Too Big To Fail Wars” and my credit accounts were transferred to a Big Bank that also got the lions share of benefits transfer and government pay distribution contracts. Raised rates and fees then even after a new…
thing is, there are lots of people who’ve gotten one of these as a hand-me-down or got it stupid cheap because of starter issues. So even if you’re mechanically disinclined, lack a garage or whatever, it’s *still* worth throwing 2K at your local Lexus shop and having them give you a rig that’ll probably take another…
is that your car? Ive never seen one that clean before!
dropped my 87 Fiero notchback off at a quickie lube place. Poor kid lifts the hood, then has to ask someone what the deal is. Then they had to figure out that in some cars, and most older ones, you can’t open the “trunk” by any remote and actually have to use a key to get to the motor.
because they replace “gun violence” with other types of violence? the “huge success” is back to my original point of cherrypicking results. Violent interpersonal crime is not lessened simply because the tool changed. I’d also question your term “sensible” as for example, Canada allows GREATER firearm freedom than the…
one example added for absurdity. the point being is NOT relative danger but the cherrypicking for statistics. if there are only 5 incidents of butter knife attacks in a given area and I eliminate all butter knives, then I eliminated “all butter knife violence”! Even if there are millions of people not doing wrong with…
so what’s a guy gotta do to get his car listed on NPOCP? Nothing really outrageous in this ad one way or the other, seems a lot like most other subies on sale. Even his price request isn’t significantly Craigslist outrageous, not for around here anyway.
is rear visibility as compromised as it appears from the fisheye view of the camera? or is it really a lot better from the actual driver’s seat?
yeah and having less access to “a thing” means less “ a thing violence”. All you gotta do is choose your “a thing” you wanna demonize and you can prove that “in places where this thing is banned there is less use of that thing for crimes”. Works with guns, weed, alcohol, butter knives, cars, red meat or religious…
thought it was for Borderlands for a moment there.
it’s called “cellulose resin composite plating” and is part of the Nork’s new “green” initiative :)
good vehicles will continue to be purchased regardless. Crappy EVs will fail as they’re not backed by government anymore. Losing the subsidy won’t affect the Model S/ Model X crowd at all. And I suspect the Model 3 won;t be severely affected as it would still be a premium vehicle for those in the “don’t mind paying…
thing is, the Tesla platform has some incredible potential to be “modular” with changes in length and battery capacity requiring a lot less reengineering than other car models.
