You mean like that time Gerrard cost Liverpool their best shot at winning the Premier League but making a MUCH MUCH MUCH worse error against Chelsea? My point is, even the very best players will make a mistake. Only the dumbest of fans will discredit the value of a Bradley, or Gerrard based on that one horrible

Not to mention that in the setup yesterday he was nominally given far less in the way of defensive responsibility. Bradley was in the 10 role. Not even really his natural spot, but he's the best equipped we have for it on this roster. The double pivots of Jones and Beckerman were there doing that dirty work, but

Geoff Cameron is a beast, I love him as our center back. He made two mistakes, two goals against. It sucks, but that's the nature of the CB business. He could have beaten Varela to that ball but I don't think he was quite aware enough that Varela was even there.

What the literal fuck are you talking about? "booted it back towards their goal first touch"???? He was facing the US goal when he received that ball...oh wait you mean he should have tried an overhead clearance on a ball? Or, wait maybe let it bounce and then backheel it 40 yards on goal, Upper V? Yeah totes

Thank you.

I totally agree with you Greg. You aren't going to convince all the dudes who quit playing after getting cut in 8th grade but are suddenly HUGE FANS. They have no real idea what it takes to run a midfield and are going to hate Bradley for one terribly timed mistake (and probably because of some ridiculous notion

You're a monumental bonehead.

Not singling you out, I've seen stuff like this all day. I just have to say as a guy who has played for 20+ years, in the states and in Europe that there really isn't a better way to announce a complete and utter lack of appreciation for what makes a good player than to claim that the US should bench Michael Bradley.

Pure Game Theory.

Looked like he got his $12 refund + $300 credit. Either way, decent ROI in my book.

Guy makes $300 profit for 3 minutes work; complains anyway.

Cool thanks man, based on that I'm full highlight I'm actually going to say it looks like a good goal. He was back-pedalling towards the goal the whole time, so what looked in the Vine to be coming back from offside position was really just him running backwards as the ball was in flight.

What? I'll grant it's a pretty deft back-heel to split the defense...but pause it in the first frame of the Vine. He's clearly behind all three defenders and coming back to the play. Should have been flagged. It's a friendly so who really cares but still, he's off there.

Obviously offside.

Yep, Canadiens win this one. Taking out the Rangers #1 center and indirectly a 4th line player in exchange for 1 fourth line (Prust is a decent PK guy too) player is a huge win. Rangers should have at least had a 5 minute major powerplay to work with too.

"Personal Responsibility"

Right, I thought that could be the case. I guess I just want to see the numbers i.e. what is their turnover and how does a £150M transfer outlay affect their past, current and projected compliance to FFP.

Does anyone have a good link to updated FFP results or measurements? I'm wondering about the wisdom of going out and making huge splashes in the transfer market to force themselves back in to Europe precisely at the moment in time when UEFA has shown themselves to be not fucking around when it comes to cracking down

Sure, I agree that if all you have is the fact that Kreider has been involved in three incidents in a couple years, that does raise suspicion. But then with suspicion raised, you can actually watch the conclusive video evidence which tells you in all three cases he was tripped and not at fault. That should lower

I mean, good for you looking for evidence...but the title of the video says it all. "Chris Kreider gets tripped, take out Craig Anderson..."
