No. I pirated Puzzle Quest 2, just for kicks. If that game had not been available for me to pirate, I just wouldn't have played it. I was never going to purchase that particular game.

I can honestly say I've never pirated a game that had a free demo in some fashion. The Deus Ex: HR leak is what caused me to drop $60 on the actual game. I recognized that it wasn't a completely polished product, but what I saw in it I loved. It wasn't a developer trying to wow me with a CG cutscene trailer, it was…
And no drm at all isn't necessarily the answer either. Convenience is. If they do create their own digital storefront program, and it provides easy access to their games while not inhibiting the player, they may see sales growth, if not a reduction in piracy. Steam has drastically curbed my own piracy. Instead of…
Of course it's piracy, but my point wasn't that it isn't, it's just that how many of their own sales are they cannibalizing by staggering the releases? For the gamer who needs to have the newest games as soon as they're available, they're not going to wait for the pc launch, they're going to grab it on consoles.…
To be fair, Apple lost the OS war. They may be seeing somewhat of a resurgence now in the professional and pro-sumer markets, but throughout the 90's, they were hurting for market share. If they had won that case, we may have seen a very different landscape in the world of personal computers.
Maybe they're pirating your game... because your DRM is so ass-backwards that you feel punished for giving them money...
Huh, it's possible, I guess, I never spent a whole lot of time messing with it, I guess that was just my assumption based on the limited amount of time I had to use them. I don't use a laptop, and would rather use an external mouse no matter how inconvenient it was. :\
It's still better than Nick Simmons' (lack of) work...
From what i know about those pads, they weren't so much pressure sensitive as they were "how much skin is in contact with the pad" sensitive. more skin implied higher pressure. if this is truly pressure sensitive, it could make the experience you've had even more accurate.
"The only innovative part about this touch pad is the innovative part."
i think it should just be shortened to "Unstagram"

It's not like the cops intruded, they were GIVEN this information. It doesn't seem like they coerced it out of anyone. If I wrote a letter that included information that could implicate me in a crime, sent it to a friend, and that friend showed it to a cop of his own free will, how would that be an invasion of a…
You know what they should have done? Made it so you can plug it in either way, so when you're groping for a charger while drunk and in a dark room, you don't have to fumble as much. That would impress me.
My god... I just admitted I was wrong... ON THE INTERNET! ;_;
Ahh, true. I reread it super slowly and paid attention this time, I had read it and my brain processed it as "actually THE most popular in the states"
