and if you're somewhere drunk and passed out on the floor

I hope page 1 is, "Now, my parents and I have never actually needed to fear for our safety, but they seem to get a kick out of it."

That's definitely missing. I think maybe out of the scope but hopefully they can delve into it in the future because it's a critical part of the discussion - not just with regards to Ebola.

NO FUCKING WAY. I was actually wondering if anyone would recognize it - it's so fucking crazy that there can't be more than one or two people in the world ordering it.

Well, there are a bunch of people who are freaking the fuck out about the two Americans being "allowed to bring ebola to 'murica" and basically saying they should be left to die. The best chance for finding a treatment for Ebola for EVERY patient lies in the CDC getting to tinker with Dr. Brantly and Ms. Writebol's

Dr. S, I love you. Bringing the sass.

I would like to play Cards Against Humanity with Dr. S. He sees like a fun dude. Can he visit Jezebel more often?

Dr. S

Have you seen the Twitter and Facebook comments from the ignorant buffoons, because the AMERICAN doctor was brought back to AMERICA to receive treatment? I can't wait for that big ass Asteroid to hit this planet and destroy everything.

That makes perfect sense, and I've done something similar with my own kids (my kids were too little for money, but my son stole three pieces of candy so I made him pay back nine). It follows real-world consequences, too: punitive damages. When someone wrongs you and you take it to civil court, there's a very good

I made my son box up and sell his Nintendo Wii a few years back.

The point a lot of people miss is that in raising a child, you have to make sure that you are noting and rewarding positive behavior. A lot of parents just expect their children to behave, so they don't really acknowledge when they do. Instead, they just punish when the kid isn't behaving, because that's what they

Therapy. If your child is that out of control you either need intensive parenting coaching and/or the kid has a serious psychological disorder.

Thank you! I get so annoyed by all the idiots who think some random guy is looking at their e-mails. Gmail has billions and billions of mails sent every day, if you think they will pick out your mail with a false positive you clearly have no idea how advanced technology is at this point in time.

This just reeks of trying to abuse and humiliate her daughter.

I am fairly convinced that parents like this, and the people who praise parents like this, don't like children.

I don't get people like that either. They seem to think if you don't publicly humiliate your kid and/or spank him then there are no other discipline options.

Can people PLEASE stop publicly shaming their kids? I know it's cute when you put the "I eat my own feces" sign on a dog, but kids have actual social consequences. It's not okay to BE the bully in your kid's life.

You do realize that not everyone who needs a car is able to spend 8 hours plus travel time (plus more time shopping at home).

that may be the saddest, most depressing thing I've ever seen. If that wasn't designed for Dad's First Christmas Alone After The Divorce, I don't know what is.
