Semantics, it could have used more time in development, end of story.

This applies to alot of game companies with only one hit franchise focused on online play. Seems like ArenaNet wanted to branch out but were unsuccessful given reports of these cancelled projects. Worst part is it seems it hurt their main game Guild Wars 2 by pulling developers from there who now might get axed.

GW2 was already rushed to release, it offered no endgame content or pipeline ready to deliver content for a very long time. I returned after one year and have played it since.

I had that with both Divinity Original Sin games, i think they’re fucking great, top 20 games ive ever played but i stopped just short of finishing both of them ^^

Luckily im not american so i dont watch alot news coverage on him everyday but to me this is comedy gold, i dont like the politics but the man is hilarious.

Very good article, so great to get a bit more insight into what happened with the 2nd D3 expansion. It was always theorized in the community since they started giving us alot of random content drops that just didnt go anywhere that it was the remains of the cancelled 2nd expansion.
