so... gainax ending?

contrary to the other opinions here it all depends on what you want out of you dark souls experience. If you want a one and done playthrough and don't really want to get too much into online I would suggest the pc version. If you want a persistant online experience until the next souls game comes out with fewer

I believe Ayesha's localization was still done by Nisa, however TK bought back the publishing rights after it was mostly complete. I imagine TK did not buy the rights for the jp voice track is why it was lacking there (pure speculation). I find it surprising that people are having issues with Escha's localization

hmm, isn't Drakengard 3 coming out May 20th?

I might be in the minority but lately I have been doing most of my gaming on my Vita. I love the oled screen and ever increasing jrpg library (currently playing Sorcery Saga and Atelier Meruru+).

I have always wondered why metacritic just averages reviews and doesn't take into any consideration a statistical approach to the score.

Probably pretty far off. Particularly in the rural United states and countries with poor internet infrastructure it isn't as viable to stream stuff over broadcast/satellite TV. As far as more urban areas it might be sooner, particularly with more net savvy people and those predisposed to choosing what they watch.

Connecting to a server overseas can also contribute to latency in a significant way. Not terribly game breaking but anyone who plays online games a lot will swear it can affect in-game performance.

They did some really awesome stuff this time around with how invasions work. Basically the likelihood of being invaded is based on your sun level, sin is accrued by invading and killing the host as a red phantom. If you don't invade others or kill npcs the likeliness of being invaded goes down.
There is also a covenant

I've been listening to that soundtrack for the last three days. Omg, I can't describe how awesome some of those songs are. I think my favorite so far is exsphere nosurge.

I heart Ar tonelico, particularly 2. Can't wait for the sequel that came out this week.

I feel ya on that one... a couple of the figures I have just take up sooooo much space; I decided to get the Gwyndolin figure from Alter and even though it's a 1/8th scale figure it stands at about 14 inches. I usually only get stuff from video games/artists that I really enjoy so I don't have a crazy collection but

Well... Sennheisers are just straight awesome for price/performance. It's hard for me to try anything else after rocking some PC360s and HD598s.

Totally agree.

It might be a picture of a prototype figure and the final molding process or construction might not yet be implemented. Chances are it isn't and it's just typical cheap figure construction.

I'd think it's most likely due to computer software being digital distribution primarily and how consoles are mostly physical disk sales.

No love for Atelier Escha and Logy coming out on March 11th?

The game developer for this was Imageepoch, not NIS. NISA (not NIS) just localized the game (usually just translating, working with the original programmers to insert said translations, and quality control).

Trying to tell someone who has a set mindset on a specific issue (in this case his stance on age appropriateness of Japanese anime aesthetic as well as what people can and cannot like if they are real gamers) that their opinion is an opinion is the foundation of most conflict. Stating the obvious probably wouldn't

So we all can enjoy Maaya Sakamoto as Lightning? That sounds wonderful.
