The blocking on those screen passes is ATROCIOUS. Like instead of hands they have flippers.

Stepping on their dicks the right way.

Largely developed by Big Huge Games before 38 Studios bought them and slapped their Amalur IP on it. It’s a good game though, agreed.

Counterpoint: I quite like the Nationals’ Curly W hats. No, they can’t match the Expos’ lids, but as far as current teams go the caps are quite good.

It’s exhausting, man. Every year with this shit.

True of the Green River Killer as well (Gary Ridgeway). He preyed on those society didn’t care about. Detectives thought the Green River Killer was a genius, and when they caught him he turned out to be about as smart as a sand gnat.

The Pats have won 11 games in a row (including the postseason) by an average of about 20 points a game but apparently they still haven’t played anyone.

The Pats beat the top three DVOA teams in last year’s playoffs too, after a weird season where all their losses were to non-playoff teams.

We need to talk more about Shurmur. Boy was he awful last night.

Psst: I’m a Red Sox fan living in New England. I know all about the way Price is perceived by this fanbase, and I disagree with all of it. He’s an excellent pitcher and the fans who get on him, well I don’t agree with them.

If the past is anything to go by, there’s usually a whole lot of pouting.

I don’t understand. The Bills are 4-1. Suddenly they’re a crap opponent too?

Is this just standard “we’re pysched we beat their asses” talk, or is he referring to something specifically?

Kelly was absolutely filthy in the 9th.

He was awful last night, but I don’t know if you can say “never” in regarsd to his postseason performance. Until last year that was the storyline around David Price, and he put that to bed pretty emphatically.

Goddammit. I deserved that. Especially from you.

Come on, Sherman values that stuff because it’s the right thing to do. He shook Brady’s hand in the ending moments of the worst loss in his (Sherman’s) career; it’s not beyond expectations he’d like Mayfield to do the same before a normal regular-season game in October.

Not to mention Buffalo is 4-1 this year and looking quite legit.

You might have a point if the Pats winning percentage against all the other divisions wasn’t as equally dominant. Or if the Pats flamed out in the playoffs after dominating the division year after year. Shit, just last year the Pats beat the top 3 teams in DVOA in the playoffs.

The players aren’t robots. They know that the franchise hasn’t won a playoff game in forever, and they’ve been especially bad against the Yankees in both the regular and postseason. It’s not a curse, but IMO it’s unreasonable to think the players are immune to the pressure of trying to break such a bad run of results.
