In a pizza fight between Papa John and Mike “Little Ceasar’s” Ilitch, I’m rooting for the injuries. And blocked arteries.

Same with Rich Peverly in Dallas a couple of seasons ago. The players were screaming “medic!” from the bench. Really frightening.

I should have said “Wants to start.” Hoyer was starting games at the beginning of this season. I’m sure he’d rather be starting. Obviously that wouldn’t be the case in NE save for catastrophic injury.

This is the only scenario I would like if Brady got hurt. Goddamn would that be tremendous.

Hell, I certainly would. Bringing in a guy who’s had a ton of success in the league and led his team to a SB appearance? For a team that’s kind of gone all in this year? Sign me up.

Hoyer seems like the logical choice to become Brady’s backup, but he’s also rumored to have a couple of other teams interested in him and he likely still wants to play, so it’s no slam dunk he goes back to New England. The Pats are on a bye week this weekend, so they have a bit more time to figure out the position.

I’ve played hockey for years and never thought of getting one, but I will now after this reminder.

I still can’t believe he was back in goal 10 days later. That’s bonkers.

I believe the trainer stated that if Malarchuk had been down the other end of the ice when the accident happened, he would have died. He happened to be at the end of the ice where the Zamboni door was, so they were able to get him off the ice and treated that much quicker.

Take your +1 and get out.

Why wouldn’t they go right to the Brock Lobster? He at least looked decent while in Denver the first time.

You may well be right, but if we’re using pics to make guesses you could just as easily use this one.

RIP Paul Bearer. He was the best.

Julien did have Anton Khudobin as a backup goalie in Boston for two different stints. He’s from Kazakhstan so maybe he doesn’t count though?

Kraft’s quotes indicate that he’s on Goodell’s side against a mandate and this is against Jerrah on this issue:

They are all convinced (well, Jones and Snyder certainly are) that their successes are entirely due to their own genius and force of personality, ignoring all the while that a dachshund in jogging shorts could make millions running an NFL team over the last 15 years.

So let’s see: Jerry Jones, Dan Snyder, and Bob McNair are the guys listed who wanted a mandate.

God that’s so true. And so, so fucked.

They could try to use him as an artificial reef but there’s no way fish would ever come near him.

I don’t think a managerial change in some circumstances is unwarranted even if the team has been successful. If you see the team trending toward younger players and you have an old-school crankypants as a manager used to managing veterans, then maybe you’d think about getting a guy in there who might be better with
