It should be easy for the NFL to come up with the money. Just cut off Irsay’s pill fund for a month and that should do it.

25 point lead. Just for the record.
And yet Megatron’s butthole still isn’t as tightly clenched as the Falcons’ were in SB 51.
Peter also keeps the Skyline Chili beat close at all times.
If nothing else, have some fucking self-respect.
That destiny could come true if he stays in Cleveland and LeBron opts out to go to LA.
Shh. Your facts have no place here. This is the internet!
It’s funny, going onto YouTube and watching the last couple of drives in the Super Bowl showed some really heart-stopping moments where Brady was lucky to avoid an INT. On the tying drive he had at least two such throws.
That’s...almost a dad bod. Or a really terrible picture.
No worries, I’m agreeing with you. Guerrero has a shady as hell past, but from what’s been reported the work he’s done that’s provided Brady with the most benefit is the flexibility and massage work. Brady might be naive enough to buy into this pink salt/no strawberries nonsense, but boiling down what we know about…
AFAIK, Pettite admitted to HGH, not the real muscle-building stuff
The only real interesting thing I get from the Brady/Guerrero training program is the extreme emphasis on flexibility (Brady calls this pliability). Keeping the muscles loose, deep tissue massage, etc. That’s the likely key to Brady maintaining a lot of his physiological edge.
Manning had a great season at age 38 before falling off a cliff at 39. When he was putting up 4700 yards and a 39/15 TD/INT ratio at age 38 we didn’t hear a lot of this type of snark, from either Deadspin or other outlets.
Actually, I thought Price’s comments were stupid, and that he’s being stupid in deriding Eck for his career and he should probably drop digging himself deeper into avoidable holes. The quality of one’s career shouldn’t matter when it comes time to making stupid remarks.
David Price has been in the majors for 10 seasons. He has been a full time starter for 8 of them He’s thrown 1737 innings in that time.
Given that Eck had 17 CGs in 1979 while throwing only 14 more innings than Price did last year, I would vociferously argue that it was NOT rougher to be a starting pitcher back then as opposed to today.
Nonsense. Eck pitched for 20 years, but did you miss the fact that he got moved to the bullpen for the last 12 years of that run?
And when Eck had 17 CG in 1979, he threw 246 IP. And then the next year he was under 200 IP because he presto! He had arm troubles. Probably from all those CG.
Shaughnessy can go fuck off and die
Meh. It’s unreasonable to compare that stat across eras. That’s 38 years ago, suffice it to say it’s a completely different game today with different usage patterns against different hitters. If you magically transported Price back in time to pitch in 1979, I suspect that the guy who led the AL in IP last year would…
