I honestly would say it’s closer to 1.5 to 2 times the cost of the occulus. Sad, I know

Edit, I read your comment completely wrong and responded without reading clearly.
The problem being is marketing a device and it’s price to your “market demographic” is the key to success of a product. I am a huge gamer, I own every current console, every current handheld, a gaming PC and a brand newcell phone, my own house, new car, the whole nine yards. I cannot fathom paying 625 bucks for an…
I played the Occulus demo at PAX East 2015 and thought it was great, and exceeded my expectations. I have a decent income, for a single guy, that allows me to spend money on the things I like comfortably. I spend way more than I should on a lot of frivilous stupid stuff, buying countless games that I will never even…
To make up for it they should actually mark some of these games down to actual “steam sale” prices.
I wish the “more than it seems” was prices more along the lines of the old steam sales. These prices are nothing special at all. I almost always buy a few things, but since getting rid of the flash sales, there no excitement and only keeps games on my wishlist until they reach better prices.
I did read and none of what you said changes anything. I’m not fighting for one system over another, but time exclusivity has been rampant for YEARS, and before now it was almost always in favor of MS, but now that the DLC has shifted more toward PS4 it’s suddenly a problem.
Funny part is it’s the only one I haven’t played. Owned it since launch. Backlog has just gotten a bit crazy lately.
The complaint of Timed DLC being a problem only just now.
But it was ok that XBOX monopolized and touted it for years, now finally Sony has it and it’s a problem?
No brainer. Played Episode Duscae and I couldn’t be less excited for it.
This is my story as well. Played since launch and put a lot of hours and pretty much never played anything other than Destiny. Then TTK came out, I got to 300 on 3 characters and to this day I still haven’t even completed the new raid. Attempted with a couple ofgroups near the start of the raids launch and it never…
I cannot get that amazon app w/ free credit to work for me. Tried “purchasing” multiple of the specific apps and nothing.

This. The second they announced it as episodic, my hopes dwindled. No matter how expansive the games will be, it still means you can’t sit and beat Final Fantasy 7 when it comes out, period.
This might just be me, but doesn’t a title like the one of this article kind of ruin a comic for someone, even if it isn’t actually spoiling the event.
“While some cried CENSORSHIP, and everyone else got on with their lives”
I know that, but my point is there are more or less the same, with some ownership thrown in. The prices of both of these services are laughable.
I was really excited when the news broke of PS2 backwards compatibility, then I see this news and it makes me think that the people at Sony have no clue what they are doing. I do not know a single person, or have I heard of a single person actually using Playstation Now. And now this “backwards compatibility” turns…
Civil War should have been an Avengers movie (ala Avengers: Civil War). Instead of it being 3 or 4 heroes vs each other they should have done full blown “Civil War” like in the actual comics, with tweaks here and there. This isn’t Civil War, it’s a minor disagreement.
I’m with you. It feels like excuses to write “feel good” articles aimed toward “gamers”. How can you get married and at that point not have a grasp of finances and expenditures. I might as well write an article called “I didn’t know killing was wrong until I played Fallout 4”
