And a quick look at the metascores and reviews around, show's there's pretty much a Grand Canyon sized difference in opinion of nearly everyone who has played them and Kotaku.

What I meant was, saying "X game is not as good as Y game, thus a lower score" is not appropriate. Saying "X game failed to deliver *gameplay mechanic*, which is shy I feel the score should be lower" would be more accurate.
Then Knack should be ridiculed for being a cheap, rushed and vapid copy of Mario, Ratchet and Clank, etc. Every game should be reviewed on it's own merits, not "Well, there are more FPS out there, so it's not a good game because there are others". They used similar wording, saying both look fantastic, but are nothing…
So you don't get the full house feature experience unless you have the 4 car additional garage attached too huh?
You'f have to find someone who'd want it, in order to attempt to go grab it.
Yeah, I think all games should be reviewed on their own merits, not on market saturation.
I honestly can't tell if you're serious. Adding the Vita on? It's an entire system, there is no remote play feature on XBOX and it is an ENTIRELY optional feature to play the PS4 games on the go.
I think you're totally missing the point.
See, if I could combine aspects of the PS3 and XBOX360's controllers, it would be amazing.
I don't recall saying any one is better than another. In fact, I've pre-ordered both. Everyone seems to be missing the point that giving one game a no and another a yes when their main "selling points" of their review are the same is silly.
But if a really mediocre text only RPG came out, it shouldn't get more credit because there's less of them, a game should be reviewed by it's own merits, not by current market trends.
I've heard that about Knack, but I'm surprised about your review of the controller. I've heard nothing but high praise for it.
By that logic, they should never be allowed to put anything but NO to any sports game.
Colorful articles on Bacon Cubes and cats inside car hoods! The fact is even though both games were both reviewed by different reviewers, they both represent the same site. Giving 2 reviews with similar points and one telling people not to buy a game and the other telling people to buy the game is a silly review…
Ok, so I'm wrong because you don't like FPS? I'm pointing out a glaring inconsistency and bias in a couple reviews. You do realize your review was practically cut and paste and can be used almost identically in the opposite view right?
Oh I know, but it's not something that hasn't been done before. I myself pre-ordered both games with Amazon's Buy 2 get 1 deal. But I was actually less excited for Knack then I was for Killzone. And all the other reviewers seem to be in the opposite opinion than Kotaku. I respect everyone's reviews, but to review 2…
But that in itself is bias. You can't give a game points for not being "overdone".
Killzone: Shadowfall - Great Visuals, Same old FPS Gameplay. No
I would pay 50 bucks to retain my friends, trophies, purchases etc but change my PS4 ID
I'm really glad Amazon is joining in, not that I hate Target or anything. I had pre-ordered Killzone: Shadow Fall a while back, but cancelled it when the Target Buy 2 get 1 deal was announced. Then I come to find out my friends who pre-ordered single games got the buy 1 get 1 code. I was super pissed because I…
