Cool, that covers all the Preorders

400 bucks is not a lot of money to me, sorry if it is to you. I'm making a purchase of an item that I know I want, from a company that has yet to let me down in terms of console quality. I really don't know what else you want me to say. I'm trusting past experiences (not the actual companies) to gauge my purchase.

"fanboyism: The collective outlook and behavior of a group of people concerning a subject (movies, games, hardware, comic book characters, etc.) which when challenged results in an antagonistic, passionate, and unreasoned response."

The 80 that came out later wasn't 100% Backwards Compatible. Something like 10% or somthing wouldn't run. Only the 6-'s and the other model were true 100% BC.

I don't have absolute faith, I have faith til it's broken. I liked my 360 prior to my 3 RRODs. And that's one reason among many why I won't get a XBONE. My history for over 10 years with Sony has been flawless. It's the same reason why people avoid some restaurants, car brands, clothing, etc. You're loyal til that

As I stated above, every Sony system I've owned has functioned perfectly, all still function to this day.

I know it's been said below, but that game could not copy ICO/SOTC any harder.

But the price difference between a console now, and 1-2 years from now is MAYBE 100 bucks, and that's being generous. I just don't see how buying a new console at launch makes someone a fool, a scalper or a diehard fan. Some people just like things when they are available.

Or someone who doesn't live paycheck to paycheck, and likes to own things, will buy them. I'm getting my PS4, only launch title that really interests me (disc based) is Killzone. I don't consider myself a fool, I have trust in Sony. I have put 1000's of hours into my launch 60gig PS3 and it still runs strong, only

Good to see you aren't a PC elitist, like some are. I own a gaming PC, yet own every console too, don't see why people have to have system wars. As for XBONE, I'm not getting it due to a preference to Sony, I'm getting the PS4 because I just don't like how MS has done business the past gen and this one.

Wouldn't hold my breath on that price drop less than 2 months post release.

Unless it's updated, I wish the PS1 version would work on my Vita.

Didn't Patricia write a whole article about how she told people over games that she "raped them"? Kind of hypocritical to write an article about the demonizing of people who made a comic involving rape as a hyperbole, yet used rape in a form of hate speech over a video game, with malicious intent.

Just platinum'd Tales of Xillia. Now finally getting to Ni No Kuni

As sad as this is, FFIII US (FFVI) is the only main series Final Fantasy I have yet to play. I used to watch my brother play it to death when I was a kid, and I'd play FFII US (FFIV) instead. I really feel like I need to play it, but I already know all the plot points, etc.

About 55 hours into Tales of Xillia, working on the Platinum trophy. Then moving to Dragon's Crown.

I agree, but it's not like it's shipped alone, it's shipped with many other titles. I'm just saying, there's obviously a demand for a physical release for this title. They could have done a pre-sale.

How much could it possibly cost to produce 500,000 physical copies? I refuse to believe that a physical game could cost more than a buck a pop. I'm talking about just the cost of the cart, manual, sleeve and case.

I agree with you 100%. Don't listen to the people who think you're wrong for not standing by your principals. I too will not be purchasing the game, if it was 20 I would not purchase it. I do not support digital only releases for full titles. I have a large collection of games, and I LOVE having a collection. I like

Tales of Xillia.
