It may be inexpensive comparetively lately, but to call $600 a “budget” card is insulting to all of us who have to BUST OUR ASS for a half a month just to be able to make that money, let alone use it on a luxury purchase.

Kinda wild how a “budget” priced GPU is now more than double what it used to be, or even more. I know GPUs are a lot more important now, but I don’t think you can call a PC part priced at $600+ a budget part.

I mean... the company COULD do that. But their profits wouldnt be as high. So rather than making $1B+ per year, maybe a few hundred million. Still profitable, but the investors would worry the company isnt trying to make more money year over year.
There wouldn't be any f2p games anymore. They’d release a fully functional game with all content for $60, then release dlc for ongoing content. But at least you’d know what you were getting for your money, and no more gambling with rng.
