sounds like you got lucky. my 04 rx8 had rust on the trunk from where the spoiler was attatched (oem spoiler from the factory) and it had rust on the rear quarter panels where they met the bumper. car was in Cincinnati its whole life. driven year round and no garage.

I agree. you are talking about a GT car here. weight is no option (obviously already at 4300 lbs) so why not go with the hard top? all competitors are hard top with the exception of the E class cabrio, but the G37, 335/435 are.

Im in the same situation but maybe worse. Just bought a house, the door is impressively loud. also, the cover keeps falling off the keypad because it is broken and one of our remotes doesn't work... We did shop around... and that's why we bought a CR-V. find another small suv (in base trim) with as much power, same mpg, options, cargo space, and honda reliability and resale value for same or less money. IT SIMPLY CANNOT BE DONE.
