Forgive me for sounding like kind of a pessimist, but alot of things about this car sound like a knee-jerk reaction to the McLaren P1. I really like the car (except for the name), but it does seem a bit sudden..

Agreed. Do we know anything else about it? Like if its a customer car like the one-off sp12? Because then maybe the customer gave it a stupid name.

I don't know why, but i really hate the way this thing looks. The interior is cool, but it just doesn't look right to me. If it makes it to production, maybe the styling will make more sense after being toned down.

The same guy actually had the same problem. The incident i described happened when his car was at 125k. At 141k his motor seized up and he called me telling me it wouldn't start with no clue what the problem was. He didn't change the oil for a full 30k miles. Unbelieveable.
