I loved the confetti guy, as good as replay is for the game, it has absolutely ruined last second endings. Waiting for the replay before any celebrating is a little anti-climactic. The confetti dropping immediately made for a much more dramatic picture.

Totally, and it was an amazing gamble and call, production-wise. How anti-climactic would that have been if the confetti came down after the officials reviewed it? Instead, whoever dropped it hit a WWE-style, picture perfect cue, and it’ll make the image even more iconic as the years go on.

The biggest balls of the night belong to whomever hit the button to drop that confetti.

The Type 3 and Caravelle worked because they had bumpers, though, to break up the space. The Tesla just looks like it’s been cut off, or punched in the nose. I suppose they could have added script across it like the Caravelle, but as the most forward piece of the front, that doesn’t seem like it would work, either.

I find the lack of front grill deeply unsettling. I understand that it isn’t needed, but if so then why does it look like they had it designed for a grill but then just didn’t cut it out of the plastic or whatever. It has the outline of a grill, but no grill. I think it would look better with a more sloped nose…
