I’d have to agree. I found myself in a 2015 Camaro RS a few weeks ago and I was not impressed.... The whole thing felt so cheap, from the material to the HUD..

It looks like some kind of leather bean bag crammed into a cubby.

All of those cars’ interiors are pretty awful. If you want bang for buck on interior quality, don’t go American or Japanese, go German. I was looking at family haulers a couple years ago and went with a VW Passat TDi with nav and leather brand new for 27k. I find it much nicer than the rest, with nicer seats as well,

The Guilt is strong with these dudes.

"She's black" "These are good things."

At least you don't have to worry about denting the thing up... Jesus.

As the owner of a 4 year old VW Golf with 155k, it’s been as realible as the five Subarus I had before it.

that calm effortlessness ... you just can't teach that

Aww. I'm sorry about your penis.

Drop top. Name another $25k RWD drop top.

the Miatas roof comes down the frs doesn't. easy choice for me

Umm... top down driving??

This is a joke... right? RIGHT???

It looks pleasant enough, but I had higher hopes, I'm afraid.

Cannot confirm. Have one here with 94,000 miles on it, and the only thing to have ever needed replacing was a single glow plug.

Counterpoint; I have a 2011 TDI Golf 6MT. Nothing has gone wrong with it. Not a single thing. 50K Miles.

Full Disclosure: I lease my daily driver through my employer with some great perks (unlimited mileage, full insurance, all maintenance, one payment per month) and I recently purchased one used project car and then another for a motor swap and parts (note to self – stop buying cars for a bit).

A lot of American cars these days try to cover up the fact that they're American. They try to appeal to a more European audience.
