Holey Crap?! not "Holey Krap"? I'm disappointed.

most civil suits like this are done on a contingency fee basis so I doubt she's paying anything for the lawyer. But yes, I do not doubt that something icky is going on with her motives. I just take issue with the advice the original writer gave to move to Berkley or NYC.
I agree. I don't like it when people address a problem by saying "just move." Jobs are not easy to come by these days, and having a community (even a racist one?) is not something that is so easy to give up. Move to San Fransisco? Yeah, right, because that place is so affordable. Liberal bastions of progressive racial…
uggh, I know the case Carhart itself uses the term "partial birth abortion," but please, can we not? It's not a real thing. It's just like calling anti-choice people "pro life." Anti choicers have won before the fight's even started if we're throwing around terms like partial birth abortion.
yes! When she first came on All That she wasn't a tom boy exactly, but she was... I dunno... "feisty" or something and it was refreshing because she was so cute but not a girly girl. It meant a lot to me (and I WAS a tom boy).
damn! I try hard not to be one of those people who pretends to know things about celebrities' personal lives or who feels invested in celebrities' personal lives... but for some reason I really care about what happens to Amanda Bynes and I really hope she gets better! Must be a growing-up-in-the-90's, nostalgia thing.
Thank you, Kevin Williamson, for clearly and honestly demonstrating how the term "pro life" is a laughable piece of hypocrisy that should never be used in fair and balanced journalism.
Apple hasn't been ignoring menstruation! Or, wait, is the Ipad not what I think it is?
Um, of course people both drink and exercise more Thursdays-Sundays. Otherwise known as, at the end of the week and weekend.
I'm pretty sure this Friday is 9/26, NOT 9/27, and I know because I was supposed to host a housewarming party on Friday but I specifically moved it to the 27th so I could watch this.
Yeah, I guess third-book haters will be happy because there is no way the movie could be true to the book with all the closet-hiding and being unconscious that you point out. So, regardless how you feel about the third book, I think this movie is going to be awesome!
I liked the third book a lot! God forbid we actually deal with the PTSD fallout from the dramatic (read: traumatic) situation that entertained us so much in the first two books. It's what gives this series its darker feel.
his reasoning for why he turned republican is just AWFUL (google it). And yes, I can decide not to like someone because he votes differently than I do when those votes means that he is racist, hates women, hates poor people... or at the very least that he undervalues the rights of people of color, women, and poor…
crap, it WAS Mark Ruffalo for a long time! Am I that predictable?!
RDJ used to be my #1 celebrity crush until I found out that he's a republican. le sigh.
I had the same thoughts re: announcing it this early. It makes me so nervous when high-profile people announce their high-profile pregnancies. She risks having a very public miscarriage. But yeah, I guess she couldn't hide being absent for a few months. Good luck to them!
I agree that this is heinous, but I believe we're jumping to conclusions here. there are two distinct issues at play: 1. is that wearing a short skirt is against the dress code (which is bad enough) and 2. is that dress code violators have to wear the shame suit. There is no evidence that the shame suit is only given…
Call me a cynic, but I am like 85% sure that the woman killed her grandfather after her grandmother died so that she could tell this story...
The part was written for one, vocally. I guess it's because he's supposed to be a youngish, boy and, like in Opera, they cast a woman for a boy instead of an actual child actor because children are the worst.
Peter is traditionally played by a woman (Mary Martin!)
