I still stan pepperoni but Calabrese is definitely in my rotation and awesome.

Blaze offers salami as a topping, it’s not spicy calabrese but it’s converted me to the salami side as far as a pizza topping. So good!

I’m definitely annoyed that they didn’t get in to some better Italian cured meats here.  Prosciutto, hot capicola and goat cheese is probably my all-time favorites to put on a pizza.

I think your analysis of the Battlestar Galactic finale is frustratingly inaccurate. If you aren’t a fan of the religious iconography and solutions that end up playing a large role in the finale, that’s fine. But to argue that these elements are added in later seasons or come out of the blue is inaccurate.
