A couple summers ago I sous vide a brisket in my apartment for three days before taking it, still in the bag, to my folks place so we could smoke it on the webber kettle for a couple hours. It was the best thing I’ve ever made. 

My first thought when that pill was taken, “Oh. That’s cocaine.”

I slept in until 3:30 yesterday despite being on the clock. That about sums up how busy I’ve been this week.

How I’m feeling during a three day holiday weekend where I can’t be with family and friends.

Assassin’s Creed: Now You’re a Samurai.

The pre-cut up melon makes me sad. For one, that I bought it in the first place, and two because it doesn’t naturally turn grey to let me know, “Hey asshole, don’t buy this fruit.”

I’ll bring the beer now that I’m legally old enough to buy it.

This rules.

T-Hawk 2 definitely looks like something I’d like to play today. Thanks to the wonders of emulation I went back and played the first T-Hawk on the Dreamcast a few weeks ago and that one holds up too. I never liked the sequels as much. 

Cocoon, Presumed Innocent, and maybe my favorite role of his was in a movie nobody probably remembers called Gladiator in the early 90s. He was such an imposing villain. I loved it.

Going onto my third weekend with Dragon Quest Builders 2, with no end in sight. I love it so much.

I started Dragon Quest Builders 2 this week and to say it’s dominated my non-work time would be an understatement. I’m a bit obsessed. I’m already happy that I won’t feel obligated to go to bed before 1:00 am for the next two nights.

Oh, the cocktail possibilities.

Getting back into Bloodborne for the first time since it came out. No shame, I found a great series of walkthrough videos and I’ve enjoyed playing along, finding a ton of new things I missed the first time around.

I’m not British, but I am from Wisconsin and I just assumed everyone did this(?!).
