The manuals in Citroens and Peugeots are quite shit in my opinion. They are extremely loose and they jiggle a lot when you get them in gear. They really give away the fact that there is a wire connecting the stick to the transmission.

I disagree. An SUV is any car that has around 20 cm road clearance and a 4WD system. What you call an SUV is actually an offroader, which is a totally different type of car.

I own a 2.2 diesel and it is brilliant. Very capable for some off roading, very comfortable suspension and automatic transmission and at 150.000 km done I barely changed anything on it other than tyres and some regular servicing components.

Don’t you dare call the Hyundai Santa Fe a 4x4 crossover.. It’s an SUV. It has 20cm of ground clearance, a trusty 2.2 diesel/2.7 petrol and a very capable 4x4 system.

I can do this easily in my Renault Megane Sedan. If I fold the back seats and because the trunk has about 520 liters of space I get a humongous area for even 2 people to sleep. It all depends on whether your car has folding rear seats.
