I completely agree and I want to add that Jaguar and Alfa are two similar brands, one which overcame such pesky problems, while the other seems to continue with them. Perhaps Alfa should be owned by Ford for a few days, then bought by some Asians.. That should do the brand some wonders, just like it did Jaguar, Volvo…

Turbos rarely die nowadays. Perhaps you live 30 years ago when turbos really were shit.. Anyway, IF a turbo dies, the money saved on fuel can easily cover any repairs..

Or the Ecoboost, just as fast and more economical for public duties..
