To add to 3) I think that in a car that is worth about 200k dollars/euros, nobody will want a manual when you can get much better dual clutch transmissions or very good automatics.. You pay for luxury and status in an Aston, not for performance or old-schoolness.

It doesn't seem so special to me.. Take a regular model, get it into a paint shop/body shop and paint it however you want and make it 50 times more special than this one..

It's my favorite manufacturer. Their cars exude elegance both on the streets and on the racetrack. It really deserves a spot right there in the top 5 manufacturers in terms of success and innovation.

That is one shitty gearbox.. I had an Audi 80 that had that very same gearbox and it broke on me and I had to replace it with a manual.. Actually, this car, whatever badge they put on it was a shitty one..

I partially agree with you.. However, the SL is supposed to be a convertible and more of a cruiser.. This is the F-Type rival that takes cues from all over the brand (S Coupe and the SL)

It is a shame that they took it out of production.. The SLS is awesome..
