I noticed that all of these guys were playing via steam (hence the PSYNET avatars). Is there a drastic difference between the controls for the two versions (like is a keyboard setup better than a controller)? What is the main reason they’d prefer Steam over PS4? Or is that just the way the tourney was set up?

Aside from lots of players just being terrible (myself included), I really blame Ball Cam for like 90% of the dumb shit that goes on. It makes it so much harder to see what’s in front of you and avoid crashing into teammates, and even worse, it makes it way more difficult to line up shots correctly because of the

YOU ARE NOT RE-PURCHASING THE GAME. This is the entire point! Let me break this down:

No. It’s $50 for the expansion. Period. The “core game” is “free”. It has no cost or value at this point and they won’t be selling it separately anymore. The expansion essentially IS the core game now. This is the thing people don’t seem understand. It’s not bundled. It IS the game.

The thing that bothers me about this VR tech is that is assumes that our eyes are locked straight forward in our heads. If I’m shaking my head at someone, it shouldn’t look like I’m having a damn seizure. My eyes are focused on whatever I’m shaking my head at while my head moves. So the overall field of view changes,

Shocked Shockey after Feeley misses on his third(?) chance to win the game.

Fahu Tahi did the same thing against mine!

They won the President’s Trophy. They’re the best team in hockey in the regular season according to point totals. That’s the point he was making.

It’s absolutely worth picking up the PS3 version. Just be aware that they *massively* nerfed the hang system to where it drains MUCH faster while hanging and takes something like five full play-throughs in order to max out (and makes it more or less impossible to climb to the top of the starting tower). It’s really

I definitely agree overall. I just don’t technically know if you can justify repackaging a game and selling at what is typically the industry full price. I don’t *think* most HD remakes do this, anyway (they generally come in like $30-50??), so it’s kinda moot. And, like you said, just don’t fucking buy it if you

If you reread what I said, I’m actually agreeing with your position.

I’m not disagreeing with you over the fact that pricing for ‘HD remakes’ is a little absurd, or even that you should be able to play a game you own on an emulator (given it’s the same version you purchased). But I hope that it’s clear to you that there is an actual large amount of work in creating an HD port (or a

I didn’t mind the SO3 plot twist. What I *did* mind is the “if we believe in ourselves we’ll still exist!” ending, which makes absolutely zero sense GIVEN the twist (that is to say: if computer memory is removed, they can’t magically will it back).

That’s because the Barons are actually going to make the playoffs. It’s rewarding him.

I think the best part isn’t even the airplane part. It’s the audio (and visual) filter they added to make all voice-overs and cutscenes sound like a 1920’s radio show.

Mega64 can be very hit-or-miss, but this was one of the best skits they've done. And some great costume/makeup work, to boot.

Came here to say this, too. It looks nearly identical to VC, which is a series I hold very high on my list of favorites.

The truth of the Isles-Sharks trade for Tyler Kennedy actually paints a much worse picture for the Sharks:

Curious which platform you played it on. I picked it up on PS3 (digital via the PSN) and it's for sure the last time I buy a Telltale game on a console. I've had very few issues with their PC releases, but TWAU on PS3 got to the point where it was just frustrating and bordering on unplayable because of choppiness and
