Yea hypes nowadays are totally bonkers... divinity and pillars are soo damn overrated... they both bored me so much and i quit pillars after a few hours. While ive spend hundreds of hours in games like Icewind dale and Neverwinter nights

Cool coincidentally i just recently played and completed Neverwinter nights for the first time and had a blast, i cleared every cave and treasurechest i saw.(Back in the days i didnt get past the first hour due to being used to simple action games).

In general i find dubs weak and inferior to the original, the english DBZ dubs are the only exception i can think of.

The gimmick was fun, but got old fast. Using it in combat was also very sloppy. Even the story wasn’t really interesting either and made little sense. I had to push myself to finish the game (which was a real grind) and i’m really done with it. I can’t think of any reason why i would ever want to play a sequel.

As a dedicated anime fan I would like to say:

Overrated. The animation is beautiful, but besides that... nothing interesting. Story and characters are mostly very dull and simpleminded, even most fights don’t have any satisfying conclusions. I’d rate it 7/10
