I have to ask. Does it make people feel intellectually superior to show up on articles like this and immediately declare it to be bullshit? Because what I read in this article was basically someone saying "I did this thing, and this thing had a positive effect on me." Does it really matter if it was a placebo

I'm not sure the vitriol directed at Paltrow has anything to do with her lifestyle guru thing, although it will be used as an excuse for hating on her.

It doesn't take much observation at your typical restaurant where gloves are worn before you see someone use their gloved hand to touch their face or hair. And sometimes you see them touch money and never change gloves. Gloves give the impression of safety in the food industry and your insistence that they are the end

Wearing a glove decreases sensitivity and makes the food porn last longer.

I truly believe you do not know how ageist this whole post is. Par for the course at a Gawker site.

Congratulations. My biggest mistake in life was to spend too much time with the wrong person. It is scary, and lonely. But also liberating. And fun.

High five. I got divorced a few years ago, and even though we'd only been married a few years, I know what you mean about relating to your friends differently. For me it was incredibly freeing to not have to think about my responsibilities to the relationship. It's good to see that you seem to be in a positive place.

I learnt how to crochet as a child - 8, 9 maybe? It was a cultural thing, young girls were supposed to learn it and do a whole bundle for their trousseau. Let me tell you, for me it was just excruciatingly boring, even though I got to be very profficient. I do some crochet now, but it's still not my favoured hobby.

Has anyone here had positive experiences with non-hormonal bc/what kind did you go with? I'm thinking of switching from the pill because I don't like the health risks. The only thing I'll miss about it is how much it helped my terrible cramps...ugh. Halp!

Now playing

I like Kesha well enough until I saw her video for Blow, and realized that she's kind of trolling everyone (which made me love her, of course). I could never bring myself to add the $ when typing her name though, so I'm glad for the change. I hope her recovery goes well!

The only bad cheater is the one who is cheating on me. Because that's the only relationship that I'm invested in. I have no idea about, investment in, or real interest in anyone else's romantic relationships. Nor, I believe, should I.

Of course, but that is NOT what I read in Penny's post. In her own word it was a great life, he made me laugh, he is family was great, they traveled, he did not smother me, and so on and so forth. And i left him for drama and exhaustion.

Dang. :/ That makes me sad. I really enjoyed Dave. I was working my way from EP1. (at EP 30 or so) Thanks for the spoiler :P

She is awesome along with her co-host Dave. I just love the atmosphere for the show. It's a great blend of info and comedy.

I've heard of Dan (isn't he the one who came up with the term pegging? fun stuff ;)), but I've never listened to him. I've never heard of Tristan before. I'll have to check those two out.

Sorry

Shit works out in all kinds of nutsy ways. If you do the work, and the work doesn't work, well, it would seem that means... something isn't working? I AM WISE. In my case, the affair dude was such bad news.... I was heartbroken for awhile when he disappeared, but with the space of, um, crap, I guess it's eight

Have fun and play safe!

You can love someone and they can love you; but if their love isn't manifested in the way you need to be loved, is it worth it? Are you settling for love instead of mattering to someone? They don't always go hand in hand.

I have come to Jezebel to spread levity and inanity and hot He Man action.

My gf and I have wonderful sex, but the book looked intriguing and we are both curious types. It has been incredible. Some of the stuff we learned from that book has really brought it *cliche warning* "to the next level".

Also, if you are
