Nice to hear you say that, I say selfishly, because I too have laugh lines like that, and similar coloring. Good for her for letting it all out, in terms of aging naturally, and being open about her disease and what she needs to do to feel better in the world.

Wow. Thanks for sharing your experience. Glad you are out and hope that life is better for you now.

Vincent Kartheiser looks so...pretty. Had no clue he was a teen idol. Never saw these before, as I'm a child of the 70s so my walls were postered with David Cassidy and his ilk.

So you're speaking from experience — as a prisoner? Sounds a little better as you describe it, I always imagine the solitary confinement/rape/gang terror scenarios. And utter boredom and no outdoors and bad food.

Guys and Dolls — my FAVORITE MUSICAL EVER! I also adore Company, and Into the Woods, but they're in a different category. The version w/these 2 guys sounds like big fun.

I must have been incarcerated in a prior life because being in prison is my #1 worst nightmare ever. Can't even watch fiction about them on TV or movies. Can't imagine working in one, either. This story is gross all around.

OK I'll bite... what's the "water line" that Allison Williams lines w/skin-colored pencil? Halp!

Yes. This. I've always been in awe of her drive and ambition and self-invention, and the discipline it's taken to stay in the game so long. And her love of hot younger men, and they for her. She remains a role model for me in many ways.

I know! We need him, and he could do a lot of good. Americans also love a good redemption story and if he makes a comeback his could be epic.

Yes. This. I'm glad his daughter feels fondly toward him, and has seemingly worked through her issues w/her parents. I'm sure in many ways he was a good father, which is a good thing to know. But it so doesn't excuse his major betrayal on so many levels. Yes he's a flawed person like everyone else, but his country

Oh I'm there already. Have a highly, highly inapparopriate crush on him. He is in that sweet spot of shorter, latino-looking guy with a brilliant smile against which I am hopeless. Plus he's talented and seems nice and funny.

I'm feeling a little sad about Julia Ormond in all this. As someone with similar coloring and build, I want her to look FABULOUS. Good news is that she doesn't seem to be doing anything with her face in terms of "refreshing." Her hair is a mess and I think the dress with those shoes are doing her legs and bod no

Absolutely TJ Maxx and/or Marshall's for great quality yoga/exercise wear! They carry a brand there called 'The Girls" as in "Yoga Girls" that's awesome and comes in petite lengths, very hard to find. <$20 too for the most part.

glad it worked out for you. I know it'll all work out for me as well. It's definitely a 2 way street... no one party is to blame. It was mutually beneficial and wonderful for a long time, until it wasn't. I'm putting in the work to may my side of things better. He is not, or cannot. So be it.

Interesting thought - he actually said he'd watch the whole series with me again if i wanted to. thanks.

thanks so much for this! I'm feeling more grounded in what I think is my decision (I know that sounds indecisive...). And you're right, it'll all work out for the best whatever way it plays. I am just wanting to be sure I did absolutely everything I could, and for the right reasons.

It's so interesting and timely for me to read this. There are parallels to real life for me, it seems. I don't watch girls, but my long term partner does. He said this ep really resonated with him...identifying with this fictional guy Ray nearly half his age. We are in the midst of a serious relationship crisis,

I don't know where you live, but my NJ (<15 miles from NYC) has lots of trees and public open space and many nice, progressive, gay-friendly people. I'll give you the bitching about the flooding, and there are pockets of entitlement for sure.

As I heard Sheldon say on the Big Bang Theory last night, Bazinga!

Now THAT was what I needed to put a smile on my face and renew my faith in humanity and the healing power of song! (it's been that kind of a week).
