Boring.
Boring.
So.... stupid question, but how do you know they’re clean inside? We have reusable clear plastic straws, and sometimes if my husband wouldn’t rinse his out quickly after drinking a smoothie, it’d have to soak in water and go through the dishwasher again.

I wish I’d caught this when it was new, instead of when I’m behind on my rss feed. :)
If it is an item I’m going to have out and see every day, I’ll spend extra to make sure I like what I’m getting.
My way of combating my brains “IT’S ON SALE! BUY!” tendancies is to put things I think that I need in one of my Amazon wish lists. If the price drops then I’m allowed to reconsider buying it.
Except, of course, in areas where it isn’t clean.
I’ve started turning off my work computer at night, but that’s because our office is a freaking sauna, and will do almost anything to get the temperature below 80. (We had a water leak in a storage closet, and the comment, “I don’t think there’s a leak, I think it just got so humid it started raining” didn’t phase…
My husband and I are more than 2/3rds of the way through visiting the State Parks and Forests in our state (West (by God) Virginia) although there are more small parks that aren’t on the website list. (50 parks)
A boss I once had, at our weekly Friday afternoon (!) meeting.
That last bit is how I maintain my decluttering motivation. I look at something I’m not using and think, “I bet there is someone else who needs this. It’s being wasted sitting here not being used.” And then I give it away to someone who needs it (or to our local charity that gives people in need donated items). It is…
But being able to call only emergency services doesn’t help if in an emergency what I really want to do is contact relatives.
Sadly, true.

Unfortunately, I’m a tremendous klutz, so if I’m doing anything beyond the ordinary (scrambling over rocks, treading through a stream) I really want my camera as protected as it can be. So I’ll put it away and pull it out rather than risk a bad fall because I’m thinking about protecting the camera rather than not…
We carry the maps in the little 3-ring binder plastic sheet protectors. It reduces the wear and tear and protects them somewhat if we get rained upon.
For short hikes like we’re currently doing (visiting all the WV state parks & forests), I use a fanny pack because I can twist it around to get my camera in and out easily. I can’t get my camera out of my backpack without taking it off.
My husband carries the first aid kit, along with the extra water & TP. (I actually noted that on Flickr, but it got cut off both times. :( ) I also frequently clip water shoes to my bag, so I can wade up some of the streams we cross. I’ve found balanced rock art previously in an area only accessible by going up the…
The map and compass are in my husband’s backpack—along with extra water. :)
Like they said, talk to the Farmers and check what the rules are for your Market. All the farmers at our market sell only what they grow (or they’ll sometimes sell for a neighbor who couldn’t make it) and they all have the location of their farm on their signs.
Same here. I usually have to be there when our Farmers Market opens if I want berries—they sell out so quickly.
