I love the Hitchhiker's Guide. But, the series kinda falls apart towards the end. I get through the last book and I can tell that Doug was tired of writing it. Particularly at the very end which felt like he was saying: "They're all dead, dangit! No more!"

Having owned several different species of gecko over the years, I can attest that they're not all cute and lovable. Tokays are downright evil. The one I had used to get in screaming matches with my cat at 2am and I had to have leather gloves on to handle the bloody thing or I would lose a good chunk of flesh.
