Riverside Raceway, just because it's the first one I ever saw, back in the sixties. I saw John Surtees beat Jimmy Clark, and saw Dan Gurney beat A.J. Foyt at his craziest. Good times!

Promised the wife I would never again buy anything I couldn't drive home. (Alfa, long story) Therefore, C.P.
I, too, share the love for the BMW V-12. I dream of buying one and installing a blower. Not a turbo, a blower. It would solve every problem that V-12 has.
I already have my Alfa. '73 Spider sitting in my garage in pieces. I've been working on it for 15(!) years, but still plugging away. Even the cast aluminum oil pan is a work of art. Worth every pain.
I just saw a segment of "Tech Toys" on TV about something called the Rimac Concept 1. This thing has 4 electric motors, hi-tech batteries, a range of 600 km, and a 30-minute charging time, according to the article on Wikipedia. It sounds like classic vaporware, but looks spectacular.

Like with my '60 TR-3, you either find a good mechanic or become one. I became one. Now, I have a '73 Alfa Spider in my garage. I'm restoring it. I've only had it for 15 years, so I'm getting close to welding in the floorboards.
