its your pick? no sd, no hd video recording, no video out? Hero 4G is better if you root it.

three things:

I grabbed a roku box and it does have NHL center ice, and the MLB. Both have the blackout issues for your market however. But you can grab a few private channels for free which show:

on a somewhat related note:

theres a difference between a hard game and one that has bad controls.

I remember a report a few years back that stated that Wendy's has the least fat and cholesterol content because it contains the least percentage of beef.

@kingmanic: ugh.. persona is exactly what I was referring to.

for me the stories are overly complex filled with plot holes and really really cheesy dialog. its like watching a bad B movie on sci-fi channel.

@IncrediBurch: basically it comes down to pride and a defense mechanism thats built into human behavior to justify one's actions. you have the same issue with politics and religion.

@correlate: the reason I dont even have text messaging on mine. (and I dont want to have to respond to all my family who text for everything, its easier to say, "I dont have texting")

@collin.kenny: another vote for RO2. If they can get the game to feel a little less clunky feeling, which it seems they did from the videos, I am all in!

@TiltingMills: "Compare the PS3 of launch to the PS3 of now and you've gone from an overpriced bluray player to a 3D enabled, motion-control enabled home media centre. "

I am not sure what there is to gain to release a new generation of console. What do you do thats any different? 3D? done. Motion controls? done. The only thing they have to gain is better graphics and even that would be so minute that I doubt anyone would jump to a new console just for that.

@Ken: sad thing is, because of his exploits people will probably go out and buy more sony PS3s... sucks for sony.

@Krakn3Dfx: wow. way to not read. its not about just emulators its an HTPC with Blu-Ray. Most HTPCs are going for about the same and dont have Blu-Ray let alone the ability to play games.

Even if Sony decides to "brick" consoles, here is what I see going to happen.

@thecrisisfromthesky: better browser, better media support, homebrew games, channels, ftp, linux. Now that you supposedly wont have to boot into a new OS, you could theroetically turn this into a great HTPC with Blu-Ray (and its not bad for $300)

@Sparrow2.0: I have an xim set up. It took so long to get working properly for the various games, I just stopped using it. That and my USB to PS2 adapter stopped working after one of the firmware updates.

@infi: so you dont have issues like COD:BO where half the people meet specs but cannot play it because there are so many hardware issues. If you can shoot for sandy bridge as your lowest denominator, then the rest is icing on the cake.
