@Tom Purl: thats assuming the user knows the package names. this way you can browse easier. Software manager isn't as helpful finding things anymore - especially if you dont know what to search for.
For new people its nice to have an easy to install site like this rather than having to teach them how to use the terminal. You can just say go here and select what you want. Otherwise you have to tell them what to type and they have to tell you what they want.
I would buy one if it were not for the fact they moved the + and - keys further away. If anything I wish they moved it closer
I love Chrome's speed but until they get better bookmark organization and a side bar - I just cant use them. I don't care if they are faster, if its not as user friendly it ain't worth it.
@hawkeye18: it just takes time.
I wish I could use it on Linux and Mac. as a web developer, its a pain to switch to windows to test sites once in a while.
coming soon to Delta - lap seating!
I use the open in terminal script. browse to where you want and then right click and "open in terminal" even works on remote servers
kinda ironic that apple is now chasing google in streaming tv realm. Apple may get to market first but GoogleTV has way more functionality.
@tombotek: your link didnt work. if you are referring to YAGBE it doesnt keep your folders expanded when you close it and it doesn't stay open when you are in the main browser menu. The way favicons work in google is different so there is no drag and drop possible.
still waiting on a decent bookmark side bar. drag and drop a favicon directly to the folder is so much better than clicking the star, click the drop down to find another folder, then finding the folder and then clicking ok.
and the next year will cost you your first born child.
I might actually buy it now.
@obtusegoose: cause mac users like me just dual boot into windows. I have Win7, OSX10.6, and Ubuntu 10.04 and I use Ubuntu 95% of the time. 4% Win7 (games) and 1% Mac to test out the cross platform apps.
@omgwtflolbbqbye: I agree its kinda pointless to bring out ME2 without ME1 seeing as how its a continuation of a story - in a heavily story driven game.
@dekushrub: no pandora app can come close to Pithos. I wish it were available in windows and mac!
I've been caffeine free for 8 years now. The first 2 weeks really suck (withdrawals, headaches, etc.) but since then I have had less headaches and I have more energy then I did before, as my body has learned to regulate itself more without chemicals.
@Killer Toilet: still looks like a full can of killstreak spam to me.
@TH3M4PPL3S_: reminds me of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter.
