Very, very true. The LS, as Nelson points out, breathes well for a pushrod V8. It’s also hugely important to point out that pushrod V8s are small and light, which makes them so easy to fit into unexpected engine bays.

Actually, the LS is good only because it’s physical size and weight are good relative to the engine displacement you can achieve.

Yeah worked on those air beaters for 5 years, now I’m civilian working on Marine F-35s....different..but like them, they pay the bills. But I gave allot of respect to the Army maintainers and crews who flew them and maintain them while under fire...that’s one hell of tram right there
