I’ve had about 14 years in... I have seen all manner of stupid commands made in the name of safety.

But yeah... “must” wear ACUs or Mutlicam because “combat!” but must also wear a PT belt because “safety!” —- Silliness that keeps me from being a full timer.

Heck, I have to buy a new PT belt because a particular school

They did this without a PT belt... HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE!?

That... that is a real Camaro.

Nothing ever goes wrong on a helicopter... Unless you need it to work.

Admittedly... some flat charcoal looks fricken awesome on this thing.

Right!? All “East Side/West Side”

HA! I just said the same thing on facebook a couple minutes ago.

GET OUT OF MY BRAIN, TIM!

Damn straight. I am incredibly proud of the maintainers in my unit. We are a young unit with young guys, but they have improved so much the past couple years. I feel like a proud dad. I can’t take any of the credit though, I’m just a stick-wiggling breaker-of-the-aircraft.

You were a maintainer? Well brother, I have tons of respect for any maintainer in any capacity. Nothing is keeping my bird aloft if someone isn’t there to swing a wrench at it. And you sea-going sorts always had to do more with less given the difficult supply lines at times.

And I understand the career. Even my own... while I finish civil engineering I may very well end up on the production side of the house at Nissan.

In the past most of the stuff was finishing hulls for larger boats and wooden ships. Now it’s just hobby stuff: Kayaks, canoes, paddles, row boats, etc. I/we haven’t done infusion yet, but it is a possibility for paddles in particular, where high strength-to-weight ratios are especially important to folks that enjoy

‘Murrica!

My aunt (MA, sheltered life, terrified of firearms)... You should have seen her face when I was casually talking about a couple 2000 rd cases of 9mm just arriving at my house. “Hopefully that’ll hold me over for the next couple weekends...” (there were some local competitions coming up)

I like how all his hairpins come with their own belly-slappin’ drum solo.

I’m just busting your nards, bud. Also I should be banned from the internet pre-coffee. I’m already an arse sometimes, but my level of arse-ness really peaks before I get that coffee.

Yikes!

1. CT bans just the Barrett Light-Fifty model 82A1.
2. “California’s 50 caliber ban prohibits a wide range of activities; it applies to manufacture, possession, distribution, and importation of 50 caliber rifles, as well as sale, offering for sale, and transfer”
3. “The District deems .50 BMG rifles unregisterable,

That would make sense. The easiest/cheapest way to ship some oversize cargo is the RO/RO LO/LO vessels.

I’ll give you that. They will stop that 7.62 once reliably. Had a buddy hit with three in the same plate... which made him pretty damn lucky that one or more of them didn’t follow through.

(Funny/scary story: The only round that did break skin was actually a friendly 7.62 out of a 240B. The round entered from his right
