Enjoying the game myself but come on dude. It’s Starwars, the servers were going to be packed regardless of quality.

oh, you mean Dunbine?

I won’t lie to you, Colors is the best “modern” Sonic game but it still pales in comparison to the genesis games. To get the most out of it, you have to completely disregard the janky physics and the fact that most of the levels look like they were made with a level editor.

I’m of the opinion that Colors was actually better than Generations. Only slightly though, they’re both a lot of fun.

To play devil’s advocate : Do you really want them to just make another ps4/xbox1 either?

Where your argument falls apart is that you can hate something that is well made just because it’s not for you. As a critic, it’s your job to SEPARATE your personal bias from the game/movie/book sitting in front of you.

I follow your point, but you can still deliver the spirit of objectivity if not true objectivity itself. Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing Transformed was a well crafted game that got a NO slapped on it because the editor reviewing it was constipated that day. If he had been forced to give a score and justify it point for

“That is literally the purpose of a critical review: to let readers know whether the reviewer personally enjoyed the game; not to do the impossible and figure out how “objectively” good or bad it is.”

Yeah but you also end up with situations where a giant fat NO is slapped on a game like Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing Transformed even though it’s widely thought to be great. The author’s 6/10-ish sounding review was made into a FAIL because of the binary system.

I don’t think anyone should be surprised considering how rough the footage from E3 looked. Still, good on them for putting quality first. It’s always been what makes Nintendo Nintendo.

I rarely find myself saying this but Activision didn’t really do too much harm by insisting a trailer had different music. His beautiful score was still going to be in the game. It sounds like he acted a little like a primadonna.

I’ve done that for the past couple splatfests but this time I have to follow my (black) heart.

No. Wrong.

no, the movie is painfully mediocre. It’s literally saturday morning cartoon : the movie.

I read a few pages of this at a bookstore and as an Asian American, it was too heartbreakingly close to home for me to buy. I may grow a pair and pick up a copy some day.

Good point, probably not the best example.

I do too actually! I find him to be at his best when he was first introduced as a merciless villain. Something about his size and relative lack of muscle tone made his strength more surprising. Especially when side by side with muscle-bound henchman Nappa.

The drastic change in Vegeta from introduction to the end of the series can be attributed to Toriyama, the original artist as well.

Did you also accuse Rocket League for paying for the weeks and weeks of coverage Kotaku gave them?

This update terrifies me. I feel like I need to relearn half the levels and adjust my play for the new weapons. IT’S A NEW SCARY FRONTIER.
