Excellent point, tho the plague pits of the Middle Ages were little more than dumping grounds.
I personally think that ancient human body parts should be kept by museums only if they are of significant, ongoing scientific value to researchers and scientists and if they would lose that value by being re-interred. They should not be placed on display, though I would be okay with replicas that explained scientific…

In Boston some of the coal doors did double-duty during Prohibition. The bar owners would use them as emergency exits - when the police came thru the front door, the patrons would evacuate thru the chute to the back alley and disappear.

I opposed to the death penalty, as it is unevenly applied, serves no deterrence value, hardens society to violence in general, wastes money, and makes no allowance for actual innocence.
Not so fast- several hundred people a year are killed from car-deer collisions.
