"The over-offensiveness. You get this shit anywhere else, you ignore it and trot on."
as i said before but it bears repeating, because they make big mechanically rich games. a straightforward fps spectacle shooter is simpler to bugtest because there are fewer variables that can interact badly. obsidian makes deep, mechanically rich games which can interact badly. bethesda has bugs, ubisoft has bugs,…
obsidan makes big games, big games have bugs. bethesda has bugs, assassins creed has bugs, i think gta shipped with bugs, you can bug-test a sidescrolling platformer or linear shooter more easily because there are fewer combinations of events that can make a bug, but since obsidian games tend to be large and are so…
What other franchises? The ones created by Black Isle Studios, which later became Obsidian?
Ironically, that sentence was grammatically less appalling than your comment.
What other "crippling bugs" is the game "plagued" with?
Played 7 hours straight, and I don't even fancy Baldur's Gate that much. It feels like an adventure, unlike that damn Dragon age 3 where you just "find X of these" and "click on a bunch of that in these locations". Every quest I encountered has at least some twist on it, or feels somewhat important.
Yes!
Okay Jason thanks but more important, can you be mean to people in this game? Can you be mean to children? To peasants?
To each their own. For me there's something about isometric that can make it even more immersive, much the same way that tabletop games can work. By not seeing every detail in the game but instead reading the details, my mind fills in the blanks. I can see how reading isn't everyone's cup of tea in RPGs, but for…
I know, don't you wish we had review scores?
You can zoom in and play while looking really closely at your characters, if you want!
Vita only has a fifth of 3DS sales, but each Vita owner is more dedicated to gaming and older (which means more money for games) and buys by far more third party Japanese or Indi stuff, than the average 3DS owner. I for example own about 75 Vita games (Obviously most of them third party Japanese and indi games), while…
What? So you're basically saying your words are fact and universal. Everything you are saying is just YOUR OWN opinion. I have read reviews saying the story is good and satisfying. That is one opinion. You are saying it's bad, that is another opinion. Me not finishing the game has nothing to do with this argument. I'm…
*cough cough* How about another Tactics game *cough cough*
More like, dammit, news is popping up in the middle of a big piece I am writing. Thanks for stopping by to point out a typo and be a jerk though. Always appreciated!
Killapp's Fallout 2 mod called "Restoration Project" brings all the missing stuff back into Fallout 2 game. The development was based on many dev interviews around the net, magazines and Fallout Bible.
Wha... what...?
I think the main issue is it breaks the illusion.
Every single Final Fantasy game is supposed to take place in a distinct, fantastical world. Products from IRL just break the illusion.
