I don't understand why anyone would contribute to the projects where the funding goals are in the 4 digit range. It'd be next to impossible to create a game of any sort of reasonable quality for this amount of money.

Kickstarter itself isn't a scam. I've backed many successful projects. But it can be used for nefarous purposes, and there is risk associated with backing a project. But to call Kickstarter a scam is just wrong.

The XBOX One will forever be remembered as the console who promised, promised again, repromised that promise & then apologized for the first promise.

I feel like this is Microsoft cutting corners on their budget for this game. The way it sounds is that the ground work was done on the game, but they're getting another company to finish it so they can pay them less because they didn't make the game from scratch.

I love metacritic as an aggregator for the consumer and as a portal to reviews to read... I like to read three reviews and it's quick and easy to find a glowing review, a middling review, and a low review and get an idea about a game you're on the fence about.

yeah the censorship really hurt the game. I have already ordered a copy from Japan because I preorder the limited edition from nisa. While I am still pleased with the game I just felt it would be better to play the game how it was made. People need to stop calling this game creepy and a game for pesos.

You're missing the point, not being able to reload is built into the fundamental design of the game. Bring able to save scum would break it. It's clearly not a game for you.

My biggest hope is that WI can go back to its old domain (www.wow.com), which AOL forced them off of. The business AOL hoped to spawn at that domain never took off; it should go back to its old residents now that the "joystiq" brand is being diminished.

I don't read Joystiq, but I'm a regular reader of some other sites under its domain (Massively and WoW Insider).
