Its not "can run on jet fuel", they are only certified to run on jet fuel. Jet fuel is infinitely more available all over the world, because airliners fly all over the world. That, along with the EPA being quite upset about piston engine aircraft using leaded gas (100 Low Lead still has a LOT of tetraethyl lead in it)
