http://www.barnstormers.com/ is my personal favorite, its free to place an AD so there are a lot more (relatively) inexpensive aircraft.
Grumman Iron Works, hands down.
Well that's the trick; Diesels have potential, but we don't have the fleet hours to truly know their reliability or longevity. First off, the auto-conversions are water cooled and bring along a host of issues because of that. Many humanitarian organizations around the world have moved to turbine aircraft because of…
Nope.
Pretty sure it's a lambo, bro
Its not "can run on jet fuel", they are only certified to run on jet fuel. Jet fuel is infinitely more available all over the world, because airliners fly all over the world. That, along with the EPA being quite upset about piston engine aircraft using leaded gas (100 Low Lead still has a LOT of tetraethyl lead in it)…
I counter your versatile plane with a more versatile plane; a seaplane with retractible wheels and skis. http://www.lisa-airplanes.com/en/akoya/ultra…
They are a Diesel cycle engine, they run on jet fuel. The big benefit is that they are way more efficient, and their low RPMs means you're going to run a gearbox and can fine tune that to an efficient prop speed.
