Chrono Cross is my big one. If it didn't have the Chrono name nor characters, I could have liked it but for a sequel? Ugh...

@georgemmark: But that goes back to the original problem. Too much choice (both in confusing consumers and finding the threshold in which people will buy this stuff) means slower adoption. Slower adoption means slower price drops. Slower price drops perpetuates slower cycles.

@georgemmark: Except it (the HDTV market) isn't/wasn't as you described.

@Ars_Diaboli: The question is then, would you take that chance?

Sony... not learning from mistakes.

Ooohhhh, I am actually considering adding more plastic instruments to my collection .

Looking at her drawing...

@tetracycloide: Looks cool but since i already have a HDD it would seem a little dumb to get hybrid drive over an SSD (however an argument can most certainly be made to use it as a new main HDD in a new comp).

@Josh: yes it does

@tetracycloide: For page file? I dunno, wouldn't it be cheaper to just add more RAM?

@Zelyre: Doesn't ship to Canada, not gonna take a chance on some random forum dude. Still I'll give you the fact that someone does have them out there for $199

@tetracycloide: I'd have to agree with you here. Buy at the sweet spot and just overhaul the system every few years. You end up with a lot of spare parts where you can put to work as media centers, gifts for older folk etc.

@Hiero: 4 gig SSD? what would that be for? I'd be under the impression you'd want to start with a 40 gig so you can install windows on that which is what I'd like an SSD for if i wasn't broke.

@tetracycloide: Not quite what i said, i was pointing out that 6 gigs of ram doesn't really net improved performance over 4 gigs of ram (not that you'd put in 4 gigs of ram in a triple channel anyways) and the big improvement is when you hit 8 gigs to disable paging.

@Zelyre: Not true, there are games that utilize multi-threads but not one current game is optimized for it. Running 4 cores at 20% and running 2 cores at 40% does not increase frame rates at all. Also, all currnet bechmark games have been proven to not run more than a frame higher on an i5 vs an i7 because most of the

@Danza: Gotta remember not everyone updates their video card and nVidia has a lock-in for workstations and most sold "as is" preconfigured set-ups.

@September: This is correct (about the core model numbers). Actually the only quad core i5 is the 750. All other current gen intel processors that are quads+ are i7s

@Vecha: It's too hard (read not economical) since a lot of people still use at most 2 cores (laptops).
