Taking this brand new "Intro to Videogames" course at NYU in the fall. A key class in their effor to build up their videogame program. I'm not quite sure what to expect, what do you guys think of this description?

I actually think that's a fairly sleek and interesting product. Of course no battery could run it so it uses an AC adapter, but still, that means it can plug in via car power adapter, and can be played from any car. And especially useful in hotels, where TV's usually suck and lack RCA inputs. The price, meh, they'd…
@dowingba: dude, I hear you. Such a long fight, and it's so easy to get one-shotted by that stupid doometron move or whatever it's called. even if your guys are over-leveled like mine where.
@VergessenHeld: However, you can diss your inner writer for writing "XBLA arcade" which repeats the word arcade unnecessarily since obviously the "A" in "XBLA" already stands for "arcade"
Best line of the night at NYU, "I guess I don't have anything to complain about, except that damned Brian Crecente." I had to leave early, else I would've stayed and asked in-person how Stephen's progress on Dark Cloud 3 was going.
Crap, ha, I have a class in that same building from 6:20-9:00, ah the frustration. I'll try to sneak down to meet and greet at some point though.
if you go to the collegehumor website for this vid, and see view credits, and see "Rob Meyer" that's me! Anyways, this was a really cool old set in Staten Island, I was representing my nerdiness and trying to keep it in line with game lore.
When you said snow could be a Guardian, didn't you mean Sentinel Mr. Fahey? By the way I'm 8 hours in and digging it so far, once you get into paradigm shifting a lot the battle system gets really fun.
@Outkastprince: I thought they already notioned that there would indeed be online mutliplayer, also the [xbox.com] site for it implies it will have xbl multiplayer.
Despite not owning a Wii, this is pretty exciting. I can't wait to see what this turns out to be. Not just the name, but the title artwork is hilariousy Final Fantasy-esque. I'm glad to see he's sticking true to himself, and not trying to shed all ties to Final Fantasy archetypes.
@The Cap'n: The japanese spelled one on 10 actually says "Biohazard 5 Demo." They just forgot to translate the demo part at the end. The 12 slot is the actual game.
@xnakerx001: While I loved Lost Odyssey, I think I'd prefer a new IP. Way more potential that way.
@djricekcn: The Thousand Years of Dreams was certainly a highlight. I thought the main story was sorta old-fashioned, but almost refreshingly old-fashioned for this generation. And the gameplay in-battle was a fond throwback for me, but the micro-managing in the menus (skill links, skills, and accessories) was what…
I sorta hope it's not Blue Dragon iphone, though I'd say it's probably what it is. Blue dragon in theory was a good idea, and I'm glad mistwalker made it, but I'm ready for some new IP's from them. Not that an iPhone game is the venue to showcase their new IP's exactly, but it'd be interesting still to see something…
Well at my home away from college, my only console is a PS2, so I think I'll make a run at finishing Okami. I'm way behind I know, but sadly over the summer I got like 25 hours in, but when the fall semester started it sorta got lost.
@Cake Tank!: Yeah, I got this e-mail today just by registering on [xbox.com] (thanks for the tip kotaku) and never did the whole spread the word Twitter thing.
Ha, this reminds me of a Videogame cover into movie crossover photoshop experiment I did a bit back for Collegehumor.
