Harden had an even better view.

Portland fan, here. As good as this play was/is for Lillard, it's even better to see Houston's entire season being summed up with James Harden standing around absolutely clueless on defense with the game/season on the line. As a bonus, it could have used Patrick Beverley sack-tapping Wes Matthews through the screen.

Have you watched Carmelo Anthony fight-highlights? There's a lot of weaker shit in there.

I could be wrong, but I think he is saying that only bad players should be suspended and good/entertaining players should get a free pass.

Seriously. Deadspin is getting tiresome with this whole "player can do no wrong" crap. He deserved what he got. Now he has to pay the consequences. That's life.

I don't think I've ever read an article that was so ridiculous on this website. This author just doesn't know when to stop, makes himself look like a bigger and bigger fool every comment.

"getting himself punched in the neck" LOL. This raises all sorts of philosophical questions for me. If one can get ones self punched in the neck, does one know the neck punch is coming?

So then it's just a free-for-all during any Game 6, knowing your punishment won't occur until the next series or next season? "Punch the other teams superstar in the throat. Throw as many elbows to the head as you can. Knees to the balls are in play too, if you're a Euro." Get a clue man, you're way off base here.

Kyle, I don't mean to go all "Yahoo comment section" on you, but what the fuck are you talking about?

Where were you guys on the Blair thing? I'm a Spurs fan and that was way less justified than this.

Should game 6 be "anything goes," then?

okay, have fun with that.

maybe he shouldn't have punched the guy in his neck?

Of course it makes the game potentially less fun to watch, but it's bullshit on Z-Bo's part not the NBA's.

The happiest moment in my life was during the 1995-96 NBA season. Laker Nick Van Exel was suspended for bumping a referee during a game. Naturally his teammate some guy named Earvin Johnson criticized Van Axel for his behavior. Then a few games later, that same Earvin Johnson bumped a referee (albeit accidentally,

We know how you feel.

Your take is so hot, I just burned myself reading it.

I think you mean "find a stranger in the alps."
