I don't see how to add alerts. I can view the page with all my current alerts(it's empty), but how to I add an alert to a note/clipping/product?

I'm subscribed to the lifehacker feed which I view with google reader. I usually do this on my iPhone so when I see an article I want to read, I open the link and have to manually edit the URL to start with "m." instead of "http://". This is a pain on an iPhone.
@Priper: tethering! That might be fun. When you say battery improvent, what exactly are you talking about? Do you mean apps that make it easier to enable/disable certain functions? Like the way SBSettings gives me a convenient place to turn on and off 3G, LAN, and Bluetooth? Or are you talking about something more?
