A smart phone seldom actually costs that much though. And even when it does, you and are paying for the development, testing, and a plethora of other features that are included. A black edition costs $400 new and thus, Im quite sure they can afford to get it to a higher frame rate.

If my Galaxy s5 can shoot in 4k at whatever framerate, why wouldnt the new go pro be able to shoot 4k at 60fps? They already had the ability to shoot in 4k with the old black edition right?
