I taught sex ed to a group of 4th and 5th graders last month. It wasn't exactly in the curriculum but we did mention it because some of the kids were wanted to know why people had sex or why people masturbated.

We actually had the kids write down anonymous questions and we spent a long time answering those. Sometimes you can't anticipate what they need to know!

I wish we had enough time to do that! As it was, we taught all about male and female parts and sex in one day, and spent the other day talking about consent, harassment, and exploitation.
